Formally organized in August, 2008, the Father's House Educational Foundation (FHEF) represents a natural step forward in a life time of growing spiritually and joyfully giving to Christ based organizations by Byron and Tammy Stinson. The couple has the joy of 8 wonderful children, Renee, Charles, Justin, Ayron, Gabrielle, Cody, Jordan and a new adopted son baby Isaac. The family owns a beautiful 80 acre farm located on the Brazos River and known as Peaceful Valley Farm. The mission of Father's House Educational Foundation is to bless God's people and increase their joy by creating experiences and supporting causes that
in order to make the Father's unchanging truth more relevant, practical, and personal from generation to generation.
As a Christian ministry, Father’s House exists to serve purposes and activities that are close to the heavenly Father’s heart as revealed in passages like Psalm 133, Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Isaiah 58:6-12, Matthew 25:34-40, and James 1:17-27. Philippians 4:13 says that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Well, I have found that promise to be true. Being a Pastor is way beyond my own limited abilities. There is no way I could meet the needs here at Bono Church over the last 17 years without the gracious hand of God upon me. So, I have to say that all the glory goes to my Heavenly Father. Not only does He guide me through ministry, but He has blessed me beyond measure with a humble, loving wife and a beautiful daughter. Mindi and Lauren are my greatest fans and cheer me on through thick and thin. Serving the Lord these years has been an absolute delight and an awesome journey. I have met and served alongside some really dedicated people. Two of those would have to be Byron and Tammy Stinson, founders of the Father's House Educational Foundation. We have been friends now for several years and have experienced the miracle-working power of God together. The Lord has given us both a heart for Israel and a desire to see Jew and Gentile become one (Ezekiel 37). That is a part of the Father's House mission. To introduce Pastors to the Promised Land so that they, in turn, will build awareness and passion in their people for the House of God. The House of God includes Jew and Gentile; all who will call upon the name of Jesus as Savior. These trips are invaluable to Pastors. They not only provide educational opportunity for the Pastor, but also revive passion for the Lord and His Word. No man goes to Israel and ever looks at the Bible the same way again. One traveler to Israel summed it up best by saying "It's not just a story any more!" I have been blessed to go there now three different times myself. The last trip was perhaps the best because I was able to see the joy and tears of those in my congregation who went with me. This experience has forever changed our lives. Serving at Bono has become a part of who I am. Throughout the years I have seen miracles, bondages broken, and hope renewed. God is truly an awesome God. And, it only makes sense that praying for Israel and working to send Pastors there would become a part of the vision for our Church. I look forward with great expectation to see what our Loving Father will do next.

I have lived in Glen Rose most of my life. I graduated from Glen Rose High School and then moved on to Tarleton University to get my bachelors. Glen Rose is an amazing town. It's home to Dr. Carl Baugh's Creation Evidence Museum, The Promise, Gary Zimmerman's Scriptorium and now the Father's House Educational Foundation. I feel blessed to be able to live and work here.
I am blessed to have the parents that I have. Byron and Tammy have amazing hearts and love to bless people. The day my dad asked me to be a part of the Father's House Educational Foundation was a blessing. Being a part of an organization that is driven to express the Father's heart for the helpless and also give church leaders grants for trips to Israel is amazing. I was able to go on the first Father's House trip to Israel. Seeing the expressions on the church leaders faces when they walked where Jesus would have walked was a great experience. Going to Israel is an eye opening experience that gives all new meaning when reading the Bible. Being where Jesus was and seeing what He saw brings you that much closer to Him.

I went to Israel on the first official trip. I have to be honest and say that, before the trip, reading my bible wasn't a priority. However, after being right in the middle of it all - seeing, hearing, touching what truly is the Holy Land - made an impact on how I am living today. My husband and I have seven children for whom I am responsible, not just in the practical aspect but especially in the spiritual aspect. Israel for me just felt like home and it just proves even more how close we are to seeing the Messiah again. I have always believed in God, but I haven't always lived for Him. God's mercy is shown to me every day, and in my life he has restored hearts and relationships time after time. It's awesome to have God as the lover of my soul! I work for the Fathers House Educational Foundation, and I truly want to be a servant in any way God chooses for me.

Hannah is very grateful to be serving the L-rd through Father's House. For G-d truly has transformed her life through His word -- passages like Deut 30:19-20 (choose life), Matt 6:33 (seek first the Kingdom), Romans 14:17 (the Kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy through the Ruach ha Kodesh, the Holy Spirit), and Heb 4:12 (the word of G-d is living, sharper than a two-edged sword). Adonai has taken her from a dark pit of codependancy, rejection, confusion, depression, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, fear, unworthiness, and hopelessness onto a path of righteousness (through His blood), shalom (wholeness) and joy through the working of His Spirit.

Patrick was born in Georgia and moved a lot as a child finally settling in the Glen Rose area as a teenager. He joined the US Army when he was 21 and served for over 7 years before returning to the civilian life and Glen Rose. He is happily married for 17 years and has 4 wonderful children ranging in age from 6 to 15. He loves his current position at the Father's House mostly because no two days are the same and he gets to see the impact of the ministry of the Father's House.
